In episode 2, @jberry168 and I talked about setting the goal of becoming a triple weight division champion.
While most of my goals I just write down and keep to myself, this was so big, I wanted to envision it every day.
So thatโs what I did. I made a photoshopped picture and sent it to my coaches and said this is the goal. ๐
Sharing goals can be really scary, but it can also solidify to yourself, what you want to achieve. So donโt be afraid to speak your goals.

Talking to people is the easy part. Figuring out what I want to say in my intro/outro and editing the podcast are by far the hardest parts. ๐ฌ
Both of these elements have been a barrier to getting episodes out. ๐ง
So Iโve tried to make a point of not trying to make things perfect. Just do it and run with it. Then learn and improve from there. ๐ชด
At the end of the day Iโm a one person army. ๐ซก I donโt have people to help film/edit/create graphics/upload to platforms etcโฆ and I need to remember that.

Mindset and the mental side of fighting is often overlooked. ๐ง But it is something you should be continually working on, much like every other part of your training. ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
My number 1 tip for fight day is to be present. ๐ Take it all in.
The fight will come regardless. Donโt let your mind control you. Use it to best equip yourself for success and performance.
Being present in the moment allows you to empty your mind and focus on what is happening right now.
It allows you to take the emotions out of what you are about to do. No focusing on what happened in the training room, good or bad, or what could go right/wrong in the fight.
Itโs time to trust in your training and the work you put in and just do the fun part. The part youโve been dreaming about for months.
