ATTENTION: We have loads of new followers and tons of new drivers attending events. If you don't read Tech Requirements and Rules and Regs before you get here, then we have to be buzzkills on event days when you aren't prepared or don't understand our rules and safety requirements.
Here are the hard lines in the sand:
-You must arrive before 8:45am cdt going the speed limit of 15mph.
- If you are under the age of 18, a parent MUST be present to sign your waiver (drivers and spectators).
-You must have a Special Application helmet that is 2020 or newer. If you have a 2015, we will accept it until July 1. If you are purchasing a new helmet, get a 2025. It will be good for 10 years. No DOT or M rated helmets are accepted.
- You must have a fire extinguisher in your car, preferably mounted.
-No fluid leaks
-Seatbelts for you and all passengers going on track.
-You and your passengers should keep all hands, feet, heads and torsos inside the ride during the course of your time on track.
-NEVER get out of your car on track for any reason except fire.
-You are welcome to drink or smoke anything you want, but if it is an intoxicant, you need to wait until the track is cold or you are done driving for the day.
We will be happy to explain why these are not mere suggestions, but requirements if needed. Please, go to our website, drivenluckcircuit.com to review all DLC expectations as drivers. Drivers, your spectators, pit crew and friends are your responsibility. Our staff sees way more than you think we do. When it comes to safety, we aren't going to let stuff slide so please do the right thing and don't force us to have to enforce the rules. It’s no secret that this is our favorite event of the year Seeing the kids, parents and grandparents alike all having the time of their lives, not to mention the whole community having one goal in mind HAVE A GOOD TIME!!! There’s really no other event like it. Our cheeks still hurt from smiling all weekend. thank you guys so much for coming out, the drivers, the vendors, the spectators and our wonderful volunteers.
