McLaren Racing 2025 World Constructors’ Championship Special ! Louise McEwen - Chief Marketing Officer at @mclaren Racing joined Shanna Raj from McLaren Technology Centre. Louise leads the global brand narrative, visual identity and commercial strategy for the team’s racing operations. But beyond branding and sponsorships, Louise is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion across motorsport. As part of McLaren’s pioneering inclusion efforts, she’s helped drive the creation of McLaren Next & Engaged Programmes to open up motorsport and STEM-related careers to under-represented and under-privileged groups. Louise consistently emphasises that opportunities in motorsport shouldn’t be limited to the cockpit: “to be world-championship material and high-performance, you need different thoughts and perspectives” and she works to make sure roles across brand, marketing, engineering, commercial and beyond are open to all talents. On a personal and symbolic level, 2025 saw Louise alongside her McLaren colleagues standing on the podium. At the F1 Miami Grand Prix she accepted McLaren’s constructors’ trophy as part of the winning team, becoming one of the few women to stand on an F1 podium a visible testament to her dual role both behind the scenes and front-of-house for McLaren’s success. Stephanie Travers is a trailblazing engineer and leader in motorsport, currently serving as the Senior Impact Manager (Careers Pathways) at @Mission44 , the charitable foundation created by Sir @lewishamilton to foster a more inclusive education system and empower underserved communities. She also held leadership roles with Team X44, Hamilton’s @extremexexh team, including Deputy Team Principal, and previously served as an Associate Sporting Director. Beginning her career with a strong academic foundation in chemical engineering (BEng from the University of Bradford, MSc from Imperial College London), Stephanie held early roles in asset management at BASF before pursuing a breakthrough opportunity. Out of over 7,000 applicants, she was selected as a Trackside Fluid Engineer for the @mercedesamgf1 , where she co-managed the Petronas Trackside Laboratory. In 2020, she made motorsport history at the Styrian Grand Prix, becoming the first woman of colour to ever stand on an F1 podium, receiving the Constructors’ trophy alongside Lewis Hamilton, a milestone Lewis himself celebrated as profoundly important for representation in the sport.
