Still processing this incredible milestone: Invincible is officially a New York Times Bestseller. This book began with a question I’ve spent decades trying to answer: How do we stay healthier, stronger, and cognitively sharp as we age? The answer is not found in quick fixes or fear-based medicine. It’s found in understanding your biology early enough to change your health trajectory. My hope with Invincible was to give people a roadmap: to understand their biomarkers, protect muscle and brain health, improve metabolic function, and realize that aging can be optimal. Thank you to every reader who believed in this message and helped bring it into the world. Seeing this conversation around precision medicine and healthy longevity reach so many people is deeply meaningful. And we’re just getting started!

Genetic tests can feel like they should give you all the answers. A report. A risk score. A list of variants. A few recommendations that seem personalized. But what if the data alone is not enough? In this conversation with Dr. Taz, Dr. Florence Comite explains why genetic tests, biomarkers, wearables, CGMs, AI summaries, and lab reports only become truly useful when someone can translate them into meaningful action. Because your health is not just numbers on a page. It is your story. Your symptoms. Your family history. Your sleep. Your stress. Your movement. Your glucose patterns. Your lived experience inside your own body. A genetic test might show risk. A CGM might show patterns. A wearable might show how you sleep or recover. But the real question is: who is helping you understand what it means for you? Maybe the future of medicine is not more data by itself. Maybe it is better partnership between your story, your biomarkers, and a doctor who knows how to connect the dots. 🎙Clip from Podcast: hol+ by Dr. Taz MD featuring Dr. Florence Comite 🎧Listen now on ALL podcast platforms 💬Comment “PODCAST” to get the link sent straight to your DM👇 and watch the full episode. #GeneticTesting #Biomarkers #PrecisionMedicine #FunctionalMedicine #HealthData

Same genes. Different outcomes. As an endocrinologist practicing precision medicine for more than 30 years, I’ve seen this truth again and again: your genes may load the gun, but your lifestyle, environment, stress, nutrition, and daily decisions help determine what gets expressed. My twin sister and I share the same DNA, yet our bodies, health patterns, and responses to stress have been dramatically different. That’s exactly why I wrote “Invincible” — to help readers understand that their genes are not their destiny. The key to longevity is understanding your biology deeply enough to change your trajectory. Your DNA is but a blueprint; the finishing touches are up to you.

I had a great time speaking with @lorenzosfnyc last night at a fireside chat hosted by Gaingels at @bestbookstorecorp in Union Square for my first west coast book event! It was a pleasure to meet with so many inspiring people and talk about how we can optimize our health for a long, healthy life! Plus, it was great to see my good friend @deanornishmd !

After more than 30 years in precision and longevity medicine, this is exactly the mission behind Invincible. Aging is not a passive process. It’s something we can measure, understand, and actively influence, starting long before the chronic diseases of aging ever appear. Grateful to David Zinczenko for encouraging everyone to build strong, resilient health for life. This is just the beginning.

Longevity advice can sound simple from the outside. Take this supplement. Try this diet. Start fasting. Add creatine. Use red light. Track your hormones. Try the latest biohack. But what if the real problem is that most longevity advice treats everyone like they are the same? In this conversation with Dr. Taz, Dr. Florence Comite explains why the future of longevity needs to move beyond one-size-fits-all protocols and toward the “N of 1” approach. Because your body is not average. Your genetics, biomarkers, glucose patterns, hormones, family history, sleep, metabolism, and lifestyle all shape what actually works for you. Intermittent fasting might be helpful for one person. For someone else, it may send their glucose too low. And for another person, it may do almost nothing. So maybe the question is not just “what is the best longevity hack?” Maybe it is “what does my body actually need?” 🎙Clip from Podcast: hol+ by Dr. Taz MD featuring Dr. Florence Comite 🎧Listen now on ALL podcast platforms 💬Comment “PODCAST” to get the link sent straight to your DM👇 and watch the full episode. #Longevity #Biohacking #PrecisionMedicine #Healthspan #HealthyAging

Most people know the Seven Deadly Sins associated with Catholicism. But you can also think of Gluttony, Sloth, Lust, and the four other famous vices as sins against aging in good health. In my recent Substack, I describe The Seven Deadly Si(g)ns of Aging and what you can do to absolve yourself of those transgressions that conspire to make you biologically older than your chronological age. The advice is based on my 30+ years of practicing proactive Precision Medicine. Remember this: Your genes are not your destiny. The earlier you recognize the signs of aging, the more power you have to change your health trajectory. Read the full piece on my @substack , Be Invincible. Link in bio.

“I’ll sleep when I’m dead” might sound harmless. A late night. Another early flight. A packed schedule. A few hours of rest and then pushing through again. But what if sleep is not just recovery? What if it is one of the biggest ways your body protects you from the diseases of aging? In this clip from hol+ by Dr. Taz MD, Dr. Florence Comite explains why sleep may be one of the most powerful modifiers of genetic destiny, especially when it comes to the quality of deep sleep and REM sleep. She also shares the story of a 30-year-old man whose biomarkers were already showing warning signs usually seen much later in life. Low testosterone. Elevated insulin. Higher cholesterol risk ratio. Glucose changes. Family history of heart attacks and strokes. These are the kinds of signals that can appear early, sometimes decades before disease becomes obvious. So maybe the question is not just “how much sleep can I get away with?” Maybe it is “what is my body already trying to warn me about?” 🎙Clip from Podcast: hol+ by Dr. Taz MD featuring Dr. Florence Comite 🎧Listen now on ALL podcast platforms 💬Comment “PODCAST” to get the link sent straight to your DM👇 and watch the full episode. #SleepHealth #Longevity #Biomarkers #GeneticDestiny #HealthyAging
