A few months ago, I started a new podcast with my friends @yawnnnick and Yuri. It's called MACHO POD, and it's about weird horrible guys on the internet, plus all the themes you see on the first slide of this post.
So far we've put out 11 episodes. Our new episode is about Metallica and the idea of being trapped in a band with your nemesis that you can't leave because you're also a multi-million-dollar small business. Other episodes have focused on stuff like Theo Von, Kanye, No Jumper, the Liver King, Elon, dads (which featured the one and only @bizzyt ), and gamergate.
Subscribe to us at machopod.substack.com or wherever else you get your pods.
We spent the day with @paymeskrilla . Full mini-doc over on the new POW.Mag YouTube channel along with a new feature by @drewmillard on the site. Link in bio for both.
#Skrilla has amassed a cult following for his depictions of life in Kensington. With a viral hit under his belt, Skrilla showed us his neighborhood and talked success, survival, and what’s next.

today our beloved dog, nora ephron friedlander-millard, died unexpectedly but peacefully this morning. nora was a truly indomitable spirit, afraid of nothing but more than capable of making others quake beneath her considerable power, charisma, and moxie. she was quirky and goofy and always up to something. she loved me unconditionally even during my lowest times, and i tried to share as much of the world with her as i could. she loved running in the snow, sitting in my lap in the car, trying to bully the neighbor’s german shepherd, eating tortilla chips, and sniffing your knees when you came home as if to make sure you hadn’t been up to any funny business. words cannot describe how much this little hellion meant to me, and i’m fucking gutted to be talking about her in the past tense. i loved her so much and always will.
i got my dj khaled on and put out a compilation where i asked a bunch of insanely kind and talented musicians to imagine what a genre called “golfcore” would sound like and then make songs in this imagined style. thanks so much to everybody who contributed and holy shit it’s out. link(s) in bio buy my book
