Still processing everything that happened last weekend at @brotherschineserecording , but let’s just say that the @bluegrassexplosion ’s debut album recording session was magical and exhausting! I’m quite grateful to be collaborating with friends who also happen to be at the top of their respective fields. We recorded to analog tape, only used 2 vintage microphones, and all played live in the same room. Y’all are gonna flip out when you hear how organic, old school, and huge these recordings sound! 🤠🤘❤️
So much fun playing and singing last night at a house concert in Napa! Our band is called the Bayside Rounders, and this is a tune I love singing called “I Can’t Go Home Like This”, originally recorded by Ray Price.

Festival season is here and we’re so excited to kick things off at the SFBOT on the 6th of June at the beautiful @salesforceparksf ! This is a wonderfully inclusive and family friendly event during Pride Month in San Francisco. It’s also a free festival with 2 stages. There are lots of cool bands such as @deepthicketband , @bcraftstringband , @bluegrass_holiday_band , @criticalgrassband and @mrfiddler1 will bring his band to headline the festival! Did I mention that there will be a square dance called by @catandthefiddle ? We play at 2:45pm. See you there!
