Hi! I am Dr. Lisel, a subluxation based chiropractor 🙌🏽 I used to have anxiety and depression… took medication… did therapy… but it took chiropractic adjustments to free my nervous system 🧠 Chiropractic helped me get off and stay off medications 🤯 I help young healthy people who actually want to feel young and healthy, but have been told they’re sick and injured 🫥 I utilize the chiropractic adjustment with rhythm and consistency to relax the spine and nervous system so your body can heal ☀️ Find out how chiropractic can help you @ drlisellewis.com

@bhumi_organic_cotton is my new trusted brand in organic cotton clothing. I will be wearing these tops throughout pregnancy and definitely into breast-feeding because all the big name athletic apparel contain polyester and micro plastics 😭 🙌🏽 I’m just trying to be in my organic cotton and linen era and @bhumi_organic_cotton is helping me with that 🌻

How to dress baby for sleep without using a swaddle ✨ primitive reflexes, like the “startle” Moro reflex can be retained when baby isn’t able to move their arms when startled… which includes sleeping. We’re going the sleeveless sleep sack route with our baby, some people choose not to use those either. Also hands and feet don’t always need to be covered. Nerve endings that go from their brain to hands and feet are stimulated and become developed more easily without mittens and socks (this goes for day time & sleep). Same goes for the sleep sacks that have their arms in goal post position… I’ll be curious to see what the research shows about that position in the future… Seems like it would keep baby in startled position versus being able to move their arms to relax 🤷🏻 Often babies are overdressed at night and become too warm. Summer babies don’t need to be in so many layers 😮‍💨 if they’re to hot, they wake up and cry. Shocker.

Another humbling day on the pregnancy front 🫠 One thing about bad experiences… they often come back. So I had this painfully bad experience a month ago, and it came back 🤯 But thank god, I knew what to do about it this time. Just out here learning… the internet doesn’t have all the info. I don’t have all the info! But sometimes when we have community, we can figure something out 🙌🏽 comment below if you’ve had some unusual pregnancy issue. And if it’s something you want to be secret about, dm me 🤫

There is something really powerful about a community coming together during one of life’s most beautiful moments. As many of you know, we love and appreciate @dr_lisel not just for what she does, but for who she is. She has poured so much love, wisdom, healing, and support into so many people’s lives and now it’s our turn to show up for her as she prepares to welcome her beautiful baby into the world. On Friday, May 15th at Feel Good Friday at Fox Point Farms, we’re asking our community to bring a box of diapers to help celebrate and support this new chapter for her family. Also bring an extra diaper package to donate to @solutionsforchange . And a personal thank you to all the participating sponsors that believe in giving back. A raffle prize will be given sponsored by our beautiful sponsors for people that brig diapers. @bubsnaturals @littlefoxcupsandcones @jojoscreamery @ethos_market . We’re also partnering with Solutions For Change so that every act of generosity not only supports Dr. Lisel, but also helps local mothers and families in need throughout our community. This is what The Group is all about. Showing up. Supporting each other. Celebrating life together. Creating impact through love, connection, and community. Every box of diapers is more than a donation. It’s a reminder that no mother should feel alone and that a strong community can change lives in the simplest but most meaningful ways. Bring your diapers to Feel Good Friday at 9AM on 5/15 and receive a raffle ticket for some amazing prizes from incredible local businesses who continue to support the movement. Let’s show Dr. Lisel and local families just how powerful this community really is. ❤️

Most difficult decision for me? Choosing to embrace my femininity. Not hard decisions: Going to chiropractic school, opening a business, moving to a different city/state. Why did I feel like I needed to have my guard up & play up my masculine? It was a safety thing. I felt unsafe as a little girl, and thought if I was a little tomboy that I could protect myself. But that was tiring & ultimately not what I wanted for my life. What does it mean to be feminine? It’s not wearing dresses and florals. It’s resting, feeling, taking time to think & accept what I can control and not fixate about what I can’t. Life got easier once I made this choice 🌻 Thank you to @hellocoffeecollective for having me on the panel last night 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
