Thanks for the support and the public platform Learning Environments Australasia @le_australasia@le_wa_chapter for @pgidle
Philip Idle and I to present our original research undertaken for Unleash 24th Conference of Learning Environments Australasia, Perth. It was a job of great responsibility, for us, for me, to represent the complexity of India in the most enlightened and informed way and to do justice to representing many voices through our grand, counter, competing and micro narratives model which made us listen without trying to reach early, forced agreements. It was meaningful to close with the five points on which we thought there is some consonance amidst the dissonance - meta curricular practices, feminist consciousness, care and creativity, digital justice and decolonial work futures. Thanks to all delegates who attended, listened closely and in community, and we look forward to having conversations with you all tomorrow at the Maali! See you there! Big thanks to @rv.university RV University for the support to make it to the conference and represent the University and India.
Congratulations to all students who are exhibiting at Ellipsis tomorrow!
Ellipsis, the three dots in the digital domain we now live in, was consciously conceived as the identity of our exhibition, as it was meant to signal a pause, the unfinished, hesitation, a space of the future, of the not just yet, the yet to be, and the heralding of amazing things to come. While the first two editions were curated shows on Design for Justice and For With and Against AI, this year, due to the depth and breadth of design imaginings, we have dedicated it to showcasing the works from the final year students in BDes and MDes programs at the School of Design and Innovation, RV University @rv.university
A warm welcome to all students, parents, friends, and well wishers, academics, industry members and the community at large. Come and celebrate with us all and have a wonderful time over the next two days.

Culmination of a week of frenetic activity at the School of Design and Innovation RV University, engaging artists, designers, artists, performers from across India to deliver workshops for our students, so they can develop a mindset of creativity and understanding traditional cultures and craft of India beyond the curriculum and classroom. Our students love it and this is the fourth edition.
It's happening!
We said our vision is to be a leading design school that nurtures original thinkers, shaping transformative change for a sustainable and equitable world.
Come and see how this is captured in our forthcoming exhibition Ellipsis 2026 which brings together the works of graduating B.Des. and M.Des. students from the School of Design and Innovation, RV University @rv.university
For the first time, we have deliberately chosen to go entirely digital, minimal, no bells and whistles, just the work. I am curious to see what is on the minds of our forthcoming graduates and how they are going to go, change the world.

It was a surprise and an honour to receive the Annual Award 2026 in recognition of outstanding achievement at @rv.university RV University along with my peers that I deeply respect. This is my second award at RVU. You can see the first one lurking in the background - the RVEI Millenium 2025 Award for Innovative Curriculum and Development, School of Design and Innovation. Immensely thankful to Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust leaders M P Shyam, A V S Murthy, Nagaraj devatha and Vice Chancellor Ram Kumar Kakani for their support and encouragement for research, teaching, and all the meta curricular add-ons we do as a School, and as a University. Such a lovely acknowledgment.

Paper Gardens: Art, Botany, and Empire at @mapbangalore was an excellent experience, looking at the corpus of botanical images produced and circulated at the height of colonialism in the subcontinent, with the exhibition "tracing encounters between plants, artists, and institutions, and reanimating the networks of labour and imagination that have built our understanding of the natural world." Such a beautifully designed exhibition too with such absorbing darkness throughout with very specific and meaningful moments of illumination.
