Thanks for the support and the public platform Learning Environments Australasia @le_australasia @le_wa_chapter for @pgidle Philip Idle and I to present our original research undertaken for Unleash 24th Conference of Learning Environments Australasia, Perth. It was a job of great responsibility, for us, for me, to represent the complexity of India in the most enlightened and informed way and to do justice to representing many voices through our grand, counter, competing and micro narratives model which made us listen without trying to reach early, forced agreements. It was meaningful to close with the five points on which we thought there is some consonance amidst the dissonance - meta curricular practices, feminist consciousness, care and creativity, digital justice and decolonial work futures. Thanks to all delegates who attended, listened closely and in community, and we look forward to having conversations with you all tomorrow at the Maali! See you there! 🎓✨ WACE in the Wild. At UNLEASH. ✨🦒 This year, something powerful is happening at #UNLEASH2026. We are running a WACE Endorsed Program with 16 Year 9 students — and they won’t just be attending the conference… They will be active contributors. They will be presenting. Across the year, these students are working with incredible mentors, exploring design thinking, future learning environments and systems change — and earning WACE credits for their participation. And in May… they’ll bring their thinking to life at the conference. (Yes — including at the Zoo 🐾🌿) This is what immersive, intergenerational learning looks like. Students not as audience.
