dr.rift - The self titled debut album. Out everywhere now.
This album came to be through a perfect storm of pandemic lockdowns, ending relationships, uprooting from home, and the death of my father. It's an expression of self searching through grief, love, nature, the sky, the highway, stillness and motion.
And for my Dad, who set me on my music path. All guitars were recorded through his vintage and stage worn Music Man amp. Half the album's electric guitars were played on his Strat, and half on my Gretsch. Like one last jam with him, immortalized.
To all involved, on stage and off, my family/friends/anyone who listened or bought a show ticket - you make the battle worth it. I hope this brings you peace through life's transitional struggles. It's a transitional album for the transitional seasons.
