Gratitude to the most high 🙏🏾 After 11 years of being in LA and being apart of so many other amazing people's project, I was able create my own and presented it on 4/18 & 4/19 🧘🏾♂️ I've definitely been wanting a different outlet/experiences to be able to utilize my gifts in different ways and God has definitely been opening doors!
In collaboration with toxicologist Rachel Rogers, we were able to blend science and movement art in such a way that had the audience in awe and wanting more.
Humble beginnings! While I will always continue to show up for those that need me, this is definitely a step in a direction for me to create more for ME to share. Not just train, showcase, battle, and wait on next gig, but to take a pause on whatever is not serving purpose, reflect, collect, and take action on what I really want to do.
Lol if u read this far you alright in my book haha cuz I know this doesn't fit the flashy 5 sec adrenaline rush type of post. This is more of another bookmark in my story/life that I wanted to document.
Shout out to my friend @lyssmilli because if I did not say yes to a duet with her last year (which was amazing) I probably wouldn't have made this connection!

Heard 15 seconds of this song n had to move to it. Earlier this week took some time to just BE. With everything that has been going internally and externally, I needed a mini session for myself. A lot of things have been happening back to back from being sick in bed to now this whole minor car wreck situation. I know everyone has their battles in life to deal with, but we can only tell our own.

You will 95% of the time always catch me smiling when outside and being the biggest hype person. I truly believe there is room for us all to win and that win is whatever that looks like to you! All i can say is thank you God for dance and all its many ways that it has given us to express how we feel, our stories, our light and dark times, our willingness to show up and keep pushing despite when everything seems to be fallen apart, and even the joyous occasions of just being present!
