Cars & Caterpillars dances with the quirky energy of playful friendship while just beneath the surface hides sobering questions. Why do we struggle to see ourselves how others do? This is a dream come true. It is such an honor to make music with a community of incredible people, supporting one another in our expression of being human. This song is the first in a series of singles I’ll be releasing over the next couple months. It tells the beginning of a story of finding myself again through the dark night of the soul. A rupturing of old patterns, a breaking of a desperate lifelong attempt to fill a void, and a discovery of myself in the existential loneliness of it all.
