@scofflawmincecore from Squamish play proper old school mince the way it was meant to sound. Unlike all too many low effort “mince” bands we’ve seen come and go, their side of this tape hits hard from start to finish. With members of Hacked Apart, Power Trip, Hoopsnake and countless other Squamish classics in tow, you know these dudes are not fucking around.
@bxbxl.mince from Victoria are representing the crushing new wave of Western Canadian grind with their brand of disgusting mincegore. I’ve been following these young rippers since their first gig, it warms my heart to see how far they’ve come since then, and am beyond hyped to be involved in a release for them. I think this is their best material, if you’re a fan of low end caveperson grind you will absolutely dig it. Appropriately for a DIY grind band, they are calling it a day just in time for this tape to release, Victoria locals can (and should) catch their last show this Saturday in a basement Downtown.

Tape versions of Retorsion, Agathocles and EPMD are fairly fresh off the proverbial presses, as is the Bigorexia / Mental Mutilation split (members of Autolysis vs members of Archagathus both laying down pure goregrinding devastation). New in distro, got a few used 7” bangers. These No Comment records should need no introduction, one of them is the namesake of this distro (because it is in my opinion the best punk record ever released) and the other is not as good as that one but still a classic. Also some old BC gems. I remember having a stack of those Obacha records many years ago and you couldn’t give them away, it’s wild to see my friends’ bands stand the test of time and even grow in popularity.

This is sold out from all North American labels as far as I know, I have three unspoken for copies, I do not expect them to last long. Also grabbed a few other @rottentothecorerecords titles. It’s been quite awhile since Yacopsae / Cripple Bastards and the Cap Cas tribute were in stock, single copies of Fuck on the Beach / Skiplife and Life’s Torment. DM me to place an order. Back at it with a big new drop today. We had orders from @ebullitionrecords and @psychocontrol.records both arrive yesterday, and tons of new titles have been added. We have the entire new round of @625_thrash releases, including the @outgrowmadness LP, absolutely raging Tokyo thrashcore with Max Ward on drums. I re-upped on all the @sedimentum.decimation LPs, because I think they’re really good, and the No Comment Live on KXLU 7” because what are you even doing if you don’t own it? That Kuroi Jukai 7” on @sentientruin is sold out from the label, so if you need it this might be your last chance. Also, heavily recommend checking out the @sickdestroyer LP and various 7”s if you haven’t, A+ Czech grindcore by veterans who know what they’re doing. I’m a little surprised this @retorsion_grind split 7” with Global Horror made it here from the Czech Republic before their LP I ordered from California like over a week earlier, but we can thank UPS and the Canadian border for that one. We are back with another @foad_records restock! Got the new Plutocracy - Off the Pigs LP reissue for those in the know regarding crazy West Bay dankcore, as well as the two new LA Nausea demo compilations, which are just absolutely classic OG grindcore with members of Terrorizer. Additionally re-upped on Discharge LPs, Regurgitate LPs and Tapes, and more.
Soon to come, Retorsion LPs and other @rottentothecorerecords titles appear to have been held up at customs, so fingers crossed that resolves soon. A big haul of deadly as fuck grindcore from @psychocontrol.records is also inbound, as is the new crop of @625_thrash titles. Big order in from Relapse Records! If this stuff sells (which a bunch of it already has without me even posting it) I will continue to stock Relapse titles. There were tons more I would have grabbed if this operation had infinite resources. A bunch of classics, a few contemporary bangers, a few of these (IE the GISM LP) were discounted and are extremely reasonably priced.
If you follow this page I’m sure you already know what all this stuff is, but I did want to highlight a couple things that are from a little bit outside this distro’s usual wheelhouse. Warning - Watching From a Distance 2xLP just got newly reissued and is one of the greatest “sad guys with electric guitars” albums ever written, I’ve been jamming it on repeat for like the last year, I figured a couple people other than myself out there must want it on vinyl. Techno Animal - Brotherhood of the Bomb is another one I kept a copy of for myself, insane (especially for its time) brutal industrial hip-hop by Justin Broadrick of Godflesh and Kevin Martin from God. They were super into all the weird abrasive hip-hop from the time like Cannibal Ox and Company Flow, and managed to assemble a who’s who of out there late 90s rappers to appear on the album. Apparently Death Grips reps it as a huge influence, and even though I hate that band you can definitely see the connection.
Still to come in the near future, another FOAD records order including that new Plutocracy reissue, and an order from Rotten to the Core Records containing the brand new Retorsion LP (the first hype grindcore full-length of 2026). I also have a whopping THREE releases I’m involved with for the coming year, because I am apparently a psycho who hates having money. I will probably need to actually make a real website to help get those out there, so keep your eyes peeled. In the meantime, as always, just DM me to place an order.
Grip of new distro additions and a couple restocks. In stock for the first time, we have the new repress of Insect Warfare - Word Extermination LP. No intro needed, one of the best grindcore records of all time, you need it if you don’t have it. Also got copies of the newly repressed Slant LP and 7” on Iron Lung, they didn’t have these when they played here back in the spring, so now’s your chance to pick them up. A lone copy of the out of print Crom - The Cocaine Wars 1974-1989 LP on To Live a Lie has also found its way to me, a couple neat used items are up, and we’ve reloaded on some classics from GISM and Rudimentary Peni.
