Today marks 3 months of loving Abraxas with my whole heart. I feel so lucky to have played a small part in helping him go from an anxious, fearful pup to the confident, goofy, loving boy that he is today. (Shout out to @palmdaleanimalslaco for scooping him up, the @bfas_la care and medical teams and his other fosters for loving him too!)
He is at the center this week while we're in New York, in hopes that he is seen and adopted. To his future family: your patience will be rewarded a million times over in laughs and cuddles.

Woooohooooo! Congratulations to @mariaolsen66 for her Best Supporting Actress award, and Christopher Woll of @downmixpost for his Best Sound Design awards from @idyllwildcinemafest !!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳. Maria’s performance is truly chilling and it was wonderful to work with her after so many years of lead up to the film. She steadfastly stood by @straightontillmorningmovie since the beginning, and I’m grateful she stuck with me for all those years. And Chris came in towards the end, thanks to @moviemakermag and he was incredible to work with! So creative, talented and easy to collaborate with. He went the extra mile for this film and I’m so happy his hard work is being recognized!
A super fun day and screening @idyllwildcinemafest !!! It was one of the best sounding presentations I’ve ever heard of @straightontillmorningmovie !!!! Seriously. The @rustictheatre was amazing!!! So glad composer extraordinaire Tom Corkran @corkran_media and @am.yackley.nethero were able to join the fun! Thank you to @officialstephensavage and the whole @idyllwildcinemafest volunteers for putting on a great show. It was also touching to be up there because during the Q&A, one of the audience members asked about my tribute to John Michael Elfers @firetrialfilms in the credits of the movie. As it turns out Idyllwild film festiva in 2010 is one of my early memories with John. We went up there because I had two short films playing and we spent a few days up in the mountains, watching movies and hiking around and having a great time. Not only that, March 3, the day before we screened, would have been John‘s 42nd birthday. He was such a great help on this Movie in Notes, in spirit, and in actual physical, artistic labor as well. It’s a much better movie because of his kindness and friendship. I wish he could’ve seen it finished.
