The courts are ready. The green is set. And yes, someone brought a shark. As the weather warms up, we love building the spaces where families make their best memories. We'll see you outside. 🎾🦈⛳🏊♀️
On this Mother's Day, Dowbuilt is celebrating new mom Megan Hillery!
Megan joined Dowbuilt as a Project Coordinator and has worked her way up to Regional Operations Coordinator and Executive Assistant for Hawaii. Based in Kona and traveling regularly between Oahu, Maui, and Kauai, she serves as the point person for our field crew and office teams across HR, marketing, onboarding, IT, safety, and more. No two days look the same.
On balancing it all as a new mom, Megan puts it best: "Motherhood is wild, it really does feel like your heart is outside your body. Working full time and being a new mom — I feel like I'm constantly switching hats... and sometimes forgetting where I left one. I'm learning to redefine what 'doing enough' looks like and celebrate the small wins. I am so grateful for my village and a workplace that truly supports me."
To Megan and every working mom in the Dowbuilt family, the hats you juggle don't go unnoticed. Happy Mother's Day. 🤍

We’re proud to celebrate ten years with SoCal Foreman Armando Bamaka—a milestone that’s as meaningful as the care, consistency, and pride he brings to his work every day.
Ask anyone who’s worked alongside Armando, and you’ll hear the same themes: he’s thoughtful, hardworking, detail-oriented, and always brings a sense of humor to the jobsite. As one teammate put it, he’s the person you call when you need a creative solution—and the kind of person who keeps the team grounded and focused along the way.
Starting as a general carpenter, Armando has progressed through a range of roles at Dowbuilt. He’s built remarkable homes, and has a reputation for solving problems with creativity, speed, and a positive mindset. Whether it’s intricate finish carpentry or a complex challenge that needs an out-of-the-box solution, he’s a partner teammates and clients know they can count on.
Outside of work, his family is his pride and joy. Over the past decade with Dowbuilt, he’s celebrated not just career milestones but personal ones, too. Welcoming both his children and watching them grow is what he values above all else.
Thank you, Armando, for ten years of dedication, craftsmanship, and positivity. We’re grateful for everything you bring to the Dowbuilt team. Stealing one of your catchphrases: “We love you more than yesterday!”

We’re celebrating Michael Tresslar’s 10-year anniversary, a milestone that speaks to the hard-earned experience, and lasting impact he’s brought to every team he’s been part of.
Michael got his start in construction through a friend and never looked back. Since joining Dowbuilt as a concrete form setter and rebar installer, he’s steadily advanced the ranks—working as a concrete lead, foreman, and superintendent—and now serves as an Assistant Superintendent for our build division.
Along the way, he’s become known for his deep, well-rounded knowledge of complex builds and a work ethic that sets the tone for everyone around him. Michael leads by example, bringing consistency, care, and a high standard to everything he does.
The impact he’s had at Dowbuilt is best captured by those who know him well. As his twin brother and Senior Project Manager Mitchel Tresslar shared, “Dowbuilt is the best of the best because of people like Michael. He is the most dedicated and hardest working person I know, and the best twin brother anyone could ever ask for!”
Teammates echo that appreciation. As Project Manager Sara Rivera-Cardinelli puts it, “Michael is one of the most genuine and caring people I've ever met. He is unapologetically himself, which is a goal we can all strive for. We are so incredibly lucky to have him here at Dowbuilt.”
Thank you, Michael, for 10 years of dedication, craftsmanship, and care—and for continuing to raise the bar (not just the rebar). Here’s to the next decade together!
Golden hour. That magical part of the day where a home glows, shadows stretch and create patterns, and every material earns its moment. It may be fleeting, but the craftsmanship it reveals never is.
Consider this your reminder to look up.
At Dowbuilt, we build beyond the four walls. Because the best work isn't always at eye level. Sometimes it's right above you, built with precision. No corner unconsidered. No detail an afterthought.
National Pet Day at Dowbuilt!
The best part of coming into the office or woodshop? The coworkers with four legs.
From desk companions to midday walking partners, our furry friends are part of the team and always welcome. 🐾
We’re celebrating 10 years with Cody Harwin, our General Carpenter/Operator and concrete expert who lives by the motto: “hard work pays off.”
A chance meeting with brothers Mitchel and Michael Tresslar in New York set Cody on his path in construction. Over the past decade, he’s honed his craft, traveling coast to coast and leading some of Dowbuilt’s most complex architectural concrete work—all while staying true to his Long Island roots.
Known as a team player, Cody never shies away from a challenge or an opportunity to learn and grow. After establishing himself as an expert in concrete, he leaned into his love of equipment operation and is currently earning his crane operator certification. Today you’ll find him in Florida operating heavy equipment on one of our largest estate projects.
Longtime friend and Asst. Superintendent Michael Tresslar says, “Cody’s dedication to executing the architect’s exact concrete design intent—and his ability to make the impossible possible—make him an invaluable partner. I've watched his knowledge grow exponentially over the last 10 years, and I am so proud of him”.
Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time with his family and watching sports—especially cheering on the New York Giants. And quite the foodie, he’s the go-to resource for finding the best places to eat near any job site.
Congratulations on 10 years, Cody—and thank you for your contributions across so many regions and projects.
We’re honored to celebrate with Matt Garcia Design, whose project in the Austin Country Club won the Best Remodel category in Austin Home’s 2026 Home & Design Awards.
Together with Matt, Dowbuilt transformed the home through a full-gut remodel, a 600-square-foot addition, an expanded main-level balcony, and a complete reimagining of the fixtures and finishes throughout.
It was a privilege to help bring Matt’s vision to life and to work alongside such an incredible team of partners and subcontractors throughout the process. Congratulations to Matt Garcia Design, and thank you to @austin_home for recognizing the project with this honor.

Happy 10th anniversary to our Florida Regional Principal, and everyone’s favorite Irishman, Gerry Garry.
In 2016, New York Principal Ryder Reynolds drew on his long-standing relationship to bring Gerry to the Dowbuilt team. “When we needed the best superintendent in the city 10 years ago, Gerry was the first person I thought of. And when we had the opportunity to build the Florida region from the ground up, once again, Gerry was the leader we needed. I’m immensely grateful that when asked, Gerry says ‘yes.’ And I’m even more excited to think what the next 10 years will bring.”
Growing up in Ireland, Gerry developed an early interest in construction, studying drafting and design in school. He learned basic building principles from his dad while helping around the house—lessons he shares with younger team members on site today. Gerry has a deep respect for the collective knowledge on a jobsite and is quick to credit the entire team for each project’s success.
In addition to being a die-hard U2 devotee, Gerry loves to play golf, is a major Seinfeld fan—his dog is named Cosmo—and is also known to be a bit of a karaoke master. But only if he can sing U2.
Thank you for being a mentor, leader and friend. “It’s a Beautiful Day” to celebrate you, Gerry!
