Times are hard but the poems are good. š¤
Weāre bringing together some excellent poets for their take on the end of days - the hard, the hopeful, and the zombies.
Come hang in community; celebrate a new book; persist despite the horrors.
For the last several months weāve been working on an anthology. It took a lot longer than we anticipated, but weāre so happy with the result. Queering the Apocalypse: Poems for the End of the World features work from 19 different poets, all bringing their take on the end of days. We have fire, flood, heartbreak, zombies, and more than a little hope for the future.
Available in print now, with an ebook on the way. šļø for copies, or request it at your local bookstore or library.
Submission updates are going out over the next week! It was really special to read these submissions, and weāre so grateful to everyone who sent in work for our first anthology. It look us longer than we anticipated (a lot of life happened over the last month), but we appreciate getting the time to spend with this work!

Double Text is a small publisher & media company centered around queer folks.
Our name refers to the relationship between text/subtext ā so much queer experience exists in the realm of subtext, sometimes out of necessity, sometimes because of nuance, sometimes because of imagination. Itās also a nod to the vulnerable experience of sending a second text message after not getting a response to the first ā a reach out into the void.
Weāre based in Long Beach, California.
