@doubl.exp - the interview ‎↻(𓄼 .̀ ̮.́)Ψ double xp is a rock band with heavy influences from noise rock, shoegaze, and emo. they’re based in Los Angeles, CA and was started by andrew tran, hannah park, aguste sharma, and trevor magaña. in this interview, aguste’s talks abt his most unique pedal in his setup being the earthquaker devices afterneath and he feels like more shoegaze bands should use it. they then share a band practice clip of one of their unreleased noise rock songs they recently wrote. heavily influenced by early sonic youth, her new knife, autolux, and blonde redhead. andrew recalls his favorite memory when recording the demos was when they did the vocal takes for the screaming parts the whole day and not having a voice after. media hannah’s been loving lately are neocities and seeing a bunch of interesting websites. two of her recent finds on there has been the funeral key card, which is kind of an artistic choose-your-own-adventure that always leads to death and then the shoegaze encyclopedia, which is just one guy’s thoughts on his shoegaze finds along with a shrine to Kevin Shields. song used: safety pin by doublexp check out their demos on their bandcamp! :D #alteredfm #doublexp #shoegaze #noiserock #newmusicfriday

xX_last show of the year + cut fruits 3.5_Xx we have one more show this year on saturday, december 6th at non plus ultra (dm for the address). it’ll be an event hosted by @artofnothing.press in celebration of vic’s bday ! the show will feature 4 bands (including us), a dj, poetry, live visuals, and multiple vendors. also thanks to everyone who came out to our sold out show at LAX. it was really memorable night for us and we can’t wait to set up more shows just like it. also much love to @noiseetcpresents for all the help and support. hope to see yall at the next one <3 📷: @possible.villain
