Before responding to place, we walked with it.
Old Nashik, at first light.
As part of the residency, artists were introduced to old Nashik through an early morning heritage walk, led by a team deeply engaged with the city’s layered histories@nashik_katha
Moving through streets, stories, and silences, the walk offered context rather than information—
a way of listening to place before responding to it.
The morning concluded, as it should, with shared breakfast and conversation.

Somewhere between the past and the future

In the looms of our memory
And a loose thread unravels the careful dream

We land on the shores of a new belonging,
