With roots stretching back to the reggae sound systems of the 1980s, Frost began his career as a mic man for the iconic Lord Coxsone Sound System. This early experience laid the foundation for his unparalleled understanding of rhythm, bass, and the power of sound. Frost’s transition into DJing saw him rise to prominence during the acid house movement, becoming a fixture at historic rave events like Sunrise and Energy. Alongside peers like Fabio, Grooverider, and Bryan Gee, he helped shape the UK’s electronic music scene, eventually co-founding V Recordings in 1993—a label that defined drum and bass with artists like Roni Size and Krust. Back home from surgery and clearer off the anesthesia. I'm feeling so grateful for the amazing people in my life and how lucky I've been.
