To mark World Down Syndrome Day, we teamed up with Julie Naylor and Danny Kane from @themeadowiom to make a film.
What we didn’t plan for was losing control of it.
Julie has been a familiar face at The Meadow for a while now — a firm right hook, the warmest hugs in the building, and a friendship with Danny built through training, laughter, and no small amount of sweat.
So when we invited her and Danny in, she didn’t just show up. She took over. We opened the MyGym doors, brought the crew, and set up the cameras. And Julie directed the whole thing, completely on her terms.

Marshals Movie Night 🎥🧡
It was movie night for the TT Marshals this week as we enjoyed a feature length film of the 12 marshal sectors, screened at Broadway Cinema.
Over 100 Marshals and representatives from supporting businesses gathered to watch a sector by sector tour.
Each Chief Sector Marshal starred in the film ... giving us a personal and entertaining tour of their sectors, showcasing the commitment, professionalism, and teamwork that goes on at every corner of the course.
Filmed around the course, the film was months worth of effort produced by the crew at DotPerformance. The night celebrates a momentous shift in the way we tell our story and serves both to attract new Marshals and retain our fabulous orange army. Our video campaigns have now achieved well over 2 million views since inception.
A huge thank you to all Marshals, volunteers, businesses, crews and partners who made the evening and the film possible.

In this episode, DotPerformance’s staff undergo training with Chris, Laura and Martin… graduating to the top of Snaefell via the scenic Manx Electric Railway, to join CSM Jordan and a team one hundred times the size of theirs.
It wasn’t just an opportunity to give back to the local community, but also a great deal of fun, education and team building all wrapped up in a big orange bundle!
A mountainside medical briefing by the Treasury Minister just goes to show how unique this experience can be. 💥

We are excited and proud to feature in this documentary that follows the Manx Jiu-Jitsu athletes on their mission to compete — and triumph — at the British Championships. With hopes of bringing home medals and even crowning a British Champion, this is more than a sports story; it’s a tale of perseverance, personal growth, and the unbreakable spirit of a close-knit community.
The film also explores the origins of Summit, dives into the lives of key athletes, and captures the emotional highs and lows of training, competition, and everything in between.
