Let's try this again. Round 2 for @alecrobbinsracing π¬
The first block was leaking water into the oil during its first start. It seemed to be leaking past the sleeve on cylinder number 6. We contacted the block manufacturer, and they got us a replacement block sent out ASAP!
With an already packed schedule for the week and a tight deadline that meant a lot of late nights. New block arrived Tuesday afternoon, pressure tested and measured that night. On Wednesday morning, parts were overnighted, and the new bearings arrived on Thursday.
Got @cbuchanan272 set up and ready to unleash this demon in Atlanta in a few weeks!
Nothing like a healthy refresh to start the new drift season.
*Unfortunately, even baking the block couldn't completely get rid of the red, and painting the block is a much lower priority than making it to testing π *
