No amount of words can describe what this past weekend feels to me. 48 hours later, and it still feels like just a dream. After all the "congratulations, champ," handshakes and hugs, it still hasn't hit me yet.
We set out on this journey 3 years ago to prove to the world what a small team from North Dakota can do on the grand stage. There has been heartache along the way, but I wouldn't change it for anything.
If you only know me from watching the livestream, you see all the fun being had, and the emotions coming out. What you don't see is the countless sleepless nights, the busted knuckles from wrenches slipping, and everything else that goes along with it. I have devoted my life to this sport, and it owes me nothing, yet it gave me everything.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you to this amazing team of ours. Thank you to anyone that has said any kind words on our journey. Thank you for buying the merch so we can make sure everyone is fed. Thank you to each and every partner we have made along the way. Thank you to the friends and family who understand when we miss a "big day." And thank you to my mother, it is a miracle a single child in a single mother household was able to get into motorsports, let alone win the dang thing. This is not my championship. IT IS OURS.
