the indestructible one
a beautiful beast created by myself.
this is my first experience being in an exhibition and I am so happy to share this with everyone. making this was the most focus I’ve ever put into a project and easily the hardest I’ve ever worked in my life. I started drawing this a year ago with clear intent to make the truest thing I’ve ever created. and yo I fuckin did it!!!
this whole process has meant so much to me and I’m so grateful for the support I got along the way. this is everything!!!!!

this effigy depicts a soul in bloom. acting as a tree of life, the dissolving form contains within it three assets of the human condition: the rot, the shadow/persona and the source. the beast in its entirety is compromised of mainly foraged natural elements and once living matter. this primal imagery evokes a deep rooted connection to everything around us, as well as the complexities within ourselves, in hopes of inspiring the viewer to harness their true potential.

YO!! I wanna love bomb ya real quick. ;3 I hear a lot of ‘I can’t, I can’t, it’s good you can! but I can’t.’ but I just do it. kept at it. I may be a bit mental. but we are all weird beasts. we are made of alchemical madness and thus can harness some of this energy to produce and create art into the tangible plain. that is MAGIC. It’s way more than a single medium. It’s a FEELING. a viiiiibration. it’s brilliant. every person should be at this. if you can just be kind to yourself, drop the expectation and don’t compare yourself to those around you. and don’t take the inner voices so serious. your thoughts are NOT YOU. they are a prison! so if a voice tells you you can’t. send it to the house. just DO IT. let it happen and create something. live in the joy. we are the frothing mouth of the universe. it is our duty to find the light within and SPIT IT OUT!! this is the whole point, we have everything we need. you are what the world needs. your existence is a gift. when you surrender to the feels, it pretty much meets you halfway, the ideas find you. It can be like the universe is communicating with ya. this place is wild! and it wants you to be free. you deserve freedom. say it. I DESERVE TO BE FREE !!! love conquers all. I love everything so much. I think you’re all so beautiful and capable of extraordinary things. modernity is a weapon. but you persevere. you are loves weapon. we are love.
when I was at the bay, I’d eaten some mushrooms with my bud and I was standing in the ocean with the sun on my back. the feeling I had in this moment was as if I was being cradled by a sacred mother and father figure, their paws wrapped me as the cold sea lapped and the sun scorched and inside of me I felt serenity. funny how none of the material actually matters when compared to these feelings. like things can evoke feelings within us, but that’s us giving it power. it’s all within us, in our spirit. and the matter is just a huge bunch of beautiful junk. and I love the junk, cause I convince myself that I am matter too. but I’m not, I’m way more than that. I also saw sooooo many overlapping lines in the sky. basically I don’t know shiz, but pretty sure we are in a math prison. haha! anyways that’s what inspired this charm, much love

COLOUR ME HOPEFUL !!! my contribution to the current exhibition EXISTENCE IS RESISTANCE in @groundgallery ! thank you so much to all the lovely people I met that helped me in bringing these babas to life by colouring them in. every mark you made was super important and appreciated. together y’all made a beautiful rainbow explosion of joy. sharing your light is your gift to this life. you are so amazing and worthy of all of the love and freedom. all of our differences are a chance to understand ourselves better. we are one, together. thanks for a great day everyone that showed up, everyone involved in the art in this show, those that helped bring it together. I love you all so much. LOVE IS EVERYWHERE!! LOVE IS WICKED :D:D:D:D :D :D
