Perhaps a little more demure than our typical designs but I have been wanting to share a bit of this elegant, historic Neel Reid home in Druid Hills built in 1919. This home was originally designed for Basil Emory Brooks but was also the home of Coca Cola magnate Robert W. Woodruff. We love a classic home with history. 📷 @dhcphoto

An old-is-new-again Ansley Park Home becomes a swanky city retreat✨
Designers Don Easterling and Nina Long’s longtime client of 25 years, who primarily lives in bucolic Serenbe, recently purchased an old home in Midtown Atlanta’s historic Ansley Park neighborhood. The early-1900s house—with Easterling and Long’s playful wallcoverings, glamorous light fixtures, and luxurious fabrics and furnishings—now rivals any swanky hotel.

For design partners @ninamarienash and @doneasterling of Mathews Design Group, the concept for this stunning dining room started with the @schumacher1889 Les Oiseaux wallpaper, designed by @marymcdonaldinc ✨
Serendipitously, Don Easterling was able to visit the space several years ago, and the pair knew that honoring the home’s history, while making it current, was essential. Inside the 2024 @atlantaholidayhome Dining Room, the components came together in harmony, with a French antique-inspired formal table and chairs, traditional English sideboard and dramatic crystal chandelier. Eagle-eyed guests may notice a nod to Bobby Jones: The striped window coverings recall the awnings at the Masters in Augusta.
