Meet Thunder Road's Technical Manager, @dompateltech 🎚️
Dom is a Lighting Designer and Production Technician based in Greater Manchester. He works with us on #ShockHorror and #TheVoid.
Dom pours an incredible amount of care and skill into everything he does – from making sure every scare lands at just the right moment, to keeping our productions running smoothly on the road. His work with Thunder Road has been nothing short of transformative, and we’re so grateful for the creativity and commitment he brings to every show.
He’s been working within music and theatre since graduating from The University of Hull in 2019. Design credits include: BUFF (UK Tour), BI-TOPIA (UK Tour), Macbeth (IC Theatre), A Night with Me; Myself and Bi-polar Brenda and The Formidable Lizzie Boone (UK Tour).

After a bad break-up from a six year relationship, a plus-sized gay primary school teachers decided to sublet his flat to buff Instagram model Jamie.
As he launches himself into the world of online dating he finds the world of online-apps much crueler than he remembers to people like him. At the same time, his feelings towards his new flatmate grow.
Things rapidly spiral on his journey of self-discovery with comic twists and heartbreaking moments along the way.
