This weekend (May 16th & May 17th) is the 34th annual Rare & Unusual Plant Sale - hosted by @southsideclt . It features "20,000 city-grown, city-sown vegetable, herb, and fruit plants, including a wide variety of medicinals. All plant starts are grown with love, using organic and regenerative practices, from seed in our greenhouse at City Farm - Rhode Island’s longest operating urban farm." Since then we have transformed nearly 32 acres of land into community gardens and farms in Rhode Island. This includes managing a 50-acre rural farm that hosts 20 small farm businesses. We helped found three farmers markets as well as three growers’ collaboratives that enable individual farmers to bring their produce to market."
