April 30 is National Adopt a Shelter Pet day. Shelter and rescue pups (and cats!) are so deserving, amazing, fun, kind, trusting, adventurous, silly and more. It’s breaks my heart that in 2026 people still think shelter dogs are broken or not worthy. For one reason or another, nobody wanted any of the dogs in this video and look at how absolutely incredible they are and were. And yes, even Peanut as he has major medical and was very shut down in the shelter but look at him now.
