Haven’t posted in forever but I can’t skip a birthday portrait. Plus some extras. Here’s me at the cemetery for a spooky craft fair, visiting the Library of Congress, and wearing a costume at a theme party. All likely places for me to be!!
Happy Halloweeeeen! I altered these pumpkin boomers from barely, tightly fitting (see last two pics) to hitting the right place on my waist and actually having volume. I removed and then enlarged the inner leg pieces, added side panels, and recreated the lace trim around the bottom in all four of the newly added portions. These were marked 4x/5x (they’re not) and have never fit me quite right, so I’m really excited to have made them wearable. Big thanks @sewinclusive for the guidance and encouragement!

SPX! Was it even real?? I spent a lot of time preparing for the show this year, between designing the program guide, bringing all my coworkers in to livestream the Ignatz awards, being the de facto secretary for meetings, and many other things in between. And then when I got there, I remembered what it was all for. @spxcomics is such a special thing, a special place, full of amazing art, sweet friends, and a whole lot of joy. Next time, I swear I will take more pictures. Until then, you can find me buried under all these comics.
Friends of summer 💕 If you are in these, I love you so much. If you’re not, I love you so much, I miss you, I’m sorry it’s been so long. The animals I saw in my yard are not as important as you, my human friends, but tbh I have been real depressed this summer. Hiding inside from the heat kinda made me forget how to socialize. I hope to be infused with fall power as the weather gets cooler, and I hope to see you soon.
