N + P ⚡️Sometimes, people come into your life at the right time. Exactly when you need them, & for me this was Nicola & Paul. They are not only a couple that booked me to photograph their wedding, but they are two of my best pals. The best human beings I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
It’s time to get soppy (sorry)
When my life turned upside down, & I was adjusting to a new norm, I received a comment on my personal insta, where I talked about my chronic illness. This comment was from Nicola, she’d reached out, offering to chat if I ever needed, as she too suffers from the same. Thinking nothing would come of it, we’d have a little chat and things would fizzle out, I reached out. I never thought it would end in a beautiful friendship, not only with her, but her partner Paul.
They are both such good listeners, give incredible advice & go above & beyond for anyone. I’m no good with words, & I don’t really think there would be enough to show how much they both mean to me.
When Paul proposed to Nicola, I was so excited for them both. I had not known them for more than a year or so at this point, & Nicola mentioned she’d like me to be involved in the wedding. I just presumed she’d want me to photograph their day, a huge honor in itself. So when she asked me to be her Maid of Honor, I was in shock!
They are both so loved, & that was so apparent through the wedding process. The whole day, the love was radiating out of everybody & you could just tell everyone there genuinely cared so much for them both.
Not only that, but their whole vision for their day was a VIBE. From the gorgeous venue they chose, to the theme & decor. It all stood out amazingly and suited them both to a tee. Editing these photos just brought back so much joy. I want to give a HUGE shout out to Becki for shooting this with me, allowing me to also be a guest & enjoy the day. You’re so talented & the way you captured their day is perfection.
