HANNAH & TOBY This is how you do a wedding in Leeds! From the moment I met Hannah & Toby at Chapter Hall's wedding fair, these two brought the banter! I knew they'd fit perfectly in the Butty gang! H & T's wedding day was all about having a good ole knees up with their fave people! When a wedding turns into a piss up in an actual brewery, you know it's a good party! The couple had an intimate ceremony at Leeds Civic Hall. The sun was shining and this was perfect for the couple's plan for the grand walk to Chapter Hall at Northern Monk. Along the way we stopped for some portraits and let the guests stomp their way to the pub. To say the couple had a big entrance is an understatement. Toby's toddler like excitement as the doors opened to show all their fave people was a grin worthy moment. The energy never stopped from speeches, to a pub quiz, to shots and finally dancing the night away to some Swedish House Mafia. This will be a day this Butt will remember for a long time! I’m trying something a little different this time. Still film related but, as a recent convert to karaoke (only in a group and silly songs that don’t require real talent) I thought let’s try it out and see how it goes! Attendance DOES NOT require singing - so please come and support your friends, your DIY film/event pals & just have a laugh. THE DETAILS: 🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤 It will be taking place at Northern Monk Refectory Leeds, LS11 - in the main bar room - rather than the event space. This venue does not have wheelchair accessibility, unfortunately, I’m really sorry about this. There are steps with large handrails, non-gendered cubicle toilets, there is food served at the venue and a photo booth!!! 29th May 2026. 19:00 - 23:00. Northern Monk Refectory, LS11. Pay on the door (there is no advanced booking for this so my nerves will be sky high) pay what you can - no one turned away for lack of funds - this is DIY baybeee!!!

The famous saying goes… ‘couldn’t organise a piss up a brewery’. Well, Emma & George DEFINITELY CAN 🍻 If you were thinking on Friday… wow, how perfect is this weather? Well can you imagine a wedding in it? And at @northernmonkrefectorylds , with some of the best beers coming out of the North? I’d say for many it doesn’t get more perfect than that. Emma & George’s wedding landing on the sunniest weekend of the year yet. Pulling up in a bright yellow Mustang, all the girls in bright pink to make George wink, their wedding was an explosion of colour. Married at the family church in Horsforth, St Margerets, by the happiest and most welcoming vicar Chris Clayton, set the day up in perfect sunshine for the pints to flow and the laughs to bellow. Ice creams on arrival and pints of Faith all round, before @meatoutdoors served up a terrific barbecue. Having photographed Emma’a twin sister Lucy’s wedding two years ago, it was so lovely to be back with the gang and alongside so many familiar faces. To see Lucy & Jonny now with their little one was beautiful, how time flies! The fantastic usual suspects - the bridesmaids - did not disappoint, having set themselves an elite reputation at Lucy’s wedding dance floor. It was in full swing with @northernhousebanduk playing the bangers into the night, with stupendously talented @katielizheap leading the party. Congratulations Emma & George, what a wedding. It was such a pleasure joining you in the sunshine x
