We found a few new wines we loved, enjoyed a beautiful tasting experience with canapés, made a very happy stop at @lambchamps for those lamb chops, and lingered a little longer over @rupertandrothschild@survivorwines@meerlustwine@laborie_wines@steenbergfarm@spierwinefarm and @annabellesparkling

The winemakers lunch @rustenvrede1694 , Hidden Valley is exactly that. You don’t book, you simply arrive, find your place under the oak trees, and let the afternoon unfold.
Beautiful food, incredible wine, soft shade, slow conversation, and that unmistakable Stellenbosch magic.
It also happens to be Mark’s favourite wine farm, as he simply loves the wine which makes it feel even more special.

Friday is my favourite day.

A mixture of sunshine and showers, the perfect temperature to hike along the deserted coastline of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
iSimangaliso Wetland Park was inscribed as South Africa’s very first World Heritage Site in December 1999, in recognition of its breathtaking natural beauty and extraordinary universal value.
Spanning an incredible 1,328,901 hectares of land and sea, iSimangaliso is also home to South Africa’s largest marine protected area – the only Transfrontier MPA linking to Mozambique’s waters – safeguarding an astonishing wealth of life above and below the surface.
Feeling very grateful and humble to have been given this opportunity.
