Think it’s fair to say, the word legend gets banded around with far too much frequency... Particularly when you spend the morning in the company of someone who has played in the same band as David Bowie, was the co-founder of The Voice Newspaper and is one of the UK’s most knowledgeable voices on Gospel music, an activist, author, director, musician and all round lovely bloke! So how do you deliver romance on an Amazonian scale? You re-record Craig Armstrong’s Portuguese Theme with a 65-piece orchestra at Abbey Road Studios and let it do what it does best.
