I’ve been enjoying the doors that have opened for me lately, while trying to accept those that have closed.
structure, new goals & a sense of directions were a lifeline.
as always, physical activity has been keeping me sane, but more than ever I’ve come to realize, that mental work can drain every drop of energy (in a good way too!).
loving this way of life, while wanting my old one back. 🏔️🩶

my whole life I’ve considered myself lucky, being able to pursue my dream-lifestyle, growing up and living in a place and within a community I love. this (and also the previous) year held some major setbacks for me personally. at times I was afraid my optimism might eventually run out, but after every low-moment, it came back.
it often felt like standing at a crossroads, where I could choose between the path toward hope and happiness and good mood, or the rather pessimistic road. mostly I chose the former (I think 🙃). and while I truly believe letting yourself feel all the feelings is good and that it’s okay to be down when life doesn’t go your way - I would always choose self-efficacy over self-pity. maybe I’m just a control freak, but if we are only looking at our bad luck, but not our own actions before and after - where can we work on?
I am a big fan of reflecting and looking back, seeing if perspectives have changed or how life has shaped me and my people. right now, I feel like it’s best for me to look nowhere but forward. forward to the small progresses, forward to be moving, training, working, to be out in nature again.

When @ortovox invited to test their new bike kits at @3laenderenduro_trails there was 0 hesitation. I might not find as much time for the two wheels as I used to - but biking will never fail to put a smile on my face. And a good crew = even more fun of course!
The gear did not disappoint❣️ I feel truly lucky to call @ortovox a long-term partner and to see their dedication and evolution once again come to life in a new project.
