This week was a dream come to fruition. The Farm to Table class after weeks of bed prepping, weeding and planting, we're finally able to do the harvesting. The bounty of our farm went to the first Greystone CSA. We will continue to offer the weekly CSA to faculty to faculty staff and definitely the students.
This week's bags were filled with, lettuce, beets, turnips, radishes, rhubarb, Chives, oregano, 2 varieties of mint and spring onions

This past weekend I had the honor and privilege to bring some of my students to help support @consciouskitchn@alicewatersinstitute . They are working with such passion and dedication to get all California (and eventually the nations) kids local, organic and healthy produce into the k-12 schools. This is collaboration at its finest. Working with farmers and schools to better support our local food system.

We came we saw we bASHed!!! This weekend was the annual bASH competition. Our students were paired with a @appellationsthelena winery, and tasked with creating the the perfect pairing.
The students rocked it, creating fun, unique, technical and most importantly delicious bites. Thank you to all of the @appellationsthelena wineries who shared their passions and delicious wines with our students. This was a night to remeber.
