I finished off this portrait of Fergus over the weekend.
It took me a while to get it done, but I wanted to give this piece the time it fully deserved.
We miss the dude a lot - but it’s nice to have good memories and photos to reminisce on. I have way too many photos n videos of the legend to post
But here are a few I thought were great to chuck in this post! He loved wearing hats outside while chilling on the lawn 😂
He loved a cheeky sip of beer, eating chicken shit and meeting new friends on walks, or at the gate - he loved kids the most!
Here’s to Fergus, the legend 🤘🏻🍺

Shock Value single art for @karma.crew.333
We went with a Jetset Radio vibe for this
Had fun putting in little Easter eggs🤘🏻
As for the promo ad - I didn’t use lyrics on this one. But damn I’m stoked on how much this one feels like a on brand megadrive magazine ad 😂

Finished off this ECTO-1 illustration today. It’s been over a year since I drew anything for myself really. So I took the opportunity to finish this off while it’s a been bit quiet. It was nice to reflect on my growth of skills as an artist when I get to work on these personal designs. I fucking Loved Ghostbusters as a kid and still do! HMU if you need any graphic design or illustration work done; or tag a mate who might! Another one put away in the DK92 illustration vault, for future prints. Thanks for looking 💀🤘🏻 #dougkeating92 #graphicdesign #illustration #adobeillustrator #adobephotoshop #wacom #truegrittexturesupply #australianartist #australia #fyp #ghostbusters #edroth
My poster design for this years Winter Magic
Stoked to see it’s coming back to its full setup!
Fond memories of going to these each year as a teenager with my mates
Dedicated to John Ellison, the founder of Winter Magic (in ‘94) a phenomenal local artist, writer and thinker - he would dress up as a wizard each year 🧙🏻♂️
Legend has it (I do my research haha) that on the first year of Winter Magic, John opened the festival with “Let the Magic begin!” And then the town saw the heaviest snowfall it had seen in years.
While working on this, I was lucky enough to catch John’s exhibition at the Cultural centre up here, and even got to chat to some of his friends who were running it and gave them a sneak peak of the early linework I’d done 😁
Looking forward to seeing it all unfold!
There’s going to be a whole bunch of rad things happening - so be sure to check it out on June 20th

Finished off this pencil drawing yesterday
Started out as a sketch to paint, but then I was loving the effect of the graphite on the mdf - so I kept going 😂
Sealed today in some matte varnish spray - its helped level out that shine you get from pencils and any further smudging.
First pencil drawing I’ve done in like 8yrs I’d say.
Stoked.

Finished off this mini board over the weekend, and gave it a few coats of varnish today. Acrylic paint with some additives mixed in
I’ll screw in some hardware on the back this arvo so I can hang it up 💀
Not bad for something I found on the side of the road in a pile of stuff out for council cleanup.
Juggling a few freelance jobs I look forward to posting in the future. More paintings coming soon too!

My submission for this years @mossfoundationskaters Sydney show @bennettsurfboardsaus@brookvaleartsdistrict
🗓️ 28/02/26 6-9pm
All decks will be auctioned on the night, with 100% of the funds going to clean water for communities in Africa!
So stoked to be given the opportunity to be involved in such a great cause alongside rad artists, such as @jimbophillips and @mentalben who have submitted boards for this auction 🤘🏻
I’ve had this iconic photo of Jay Adams saved on my pc for a while now, so when I was given the board to paint, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
Really happy with how it turned out, this is my biggest painting so far. I started this on Monday, and finished varnishing it Saturday.
I hope it’s owner loves it as much as I loved painting it 🤙🏻
Materials used:
Gesso
Acrylic paint
Matte varnish
A few beers
Mail day was good yesterday 🤘🏻
Huge thanks to @camdosen for the goodies
Stoked to format another book in his series - 100 snakes!
Hard to say it was work when I got to go through these individually and just admire the art! Though I did easily proof read this about 20 times 😆
Go show the legend some love - go give Cam a follow if you haven’t already, and be sure to checkout his books and merch! Link in his bio 🤘🏻
So rad to hold the physical copy of this book and have it alongside the 100 Dragons book. The bottle openers are awesome!
The legend even sent me some spare paint brushes of his because I’ve been stuck on building out my set and learning about brush types
Mucking around with basic pixel art and 2 frame loops.
I Definately want to explore more pixel art this year, but having fun with the basics. I’ll do a colour loop next I reckon 🚬
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years!
I had a bit of time away from my phone which was a nice recharge. Got a few more paintings done and drafts of designs needed by the end of this month.
I’m back at work today, after doing a bunch of admin yesterday.
January is booked out, but hmu for any work needed - I’ll get to that in February but can get the details and invoices going this month🤘🏻
Kicking off the year with @camdosen and his 100 snakes book! Looking forward to formatting all of this for him, and getting it sent off to the printers. Then onto a bunch of music related designs!
This year also marks 10 years of running DK92 💀
It’s nice to reflect and think of all the rad people I’ve had the opportunity to work with, along with a nice variety of different briefs off clients!
Looking forward to what this year has to offer!
Last year challenged me professionally and personally - but we keep on movin’
Grateful for all the friends I’ve made last year too
