MY SCHOOL BLAZER IS IN THE V&A π₯Ί
who would have thought?? My school blazer that I wore in year 9/10 when I started DJing is in an actual real life certified, prestigious MUSEUM. WTF? The Music is Black: A British Story is an exhibition celebrating 125 years of Black British music, and I feel honoured to be a part of it. The V&A east is a brand new location in the Olympic park in East London, and from the terrace upstairs I could see the whole of my ends, Bow E3 just across the skyline. Such a surreal moment. The exhibition is amazing with so much to see, hear and learn and it opens this Saturday until Jan 2027 so you have plenty of time.
ST JOSEPHS ACADEMY school in Lewisham was not the sort of place that was being celebrated for anything good π if you know you know, but here we are and Iβm proud
