To answer some common questions we have been getting about Vinyl Night, please read the following, thank you! ➡️This is not a record listening party, we are not playing records in full. There are bars that do that but this is a DJ night. DJ’s are mixing music together on 2 turntables and a mixer! ➡️If you are new to Vinyl DJing but comfortable, this is a great first place to play out, but we ask you to arrive between 6:30-645 and be prepared to go first at 7p. ➡️If you want to learn how to mix Vinyl, this is not a night for lessons but ask us and we will direct you to people who teach Vinyl DJ lessons. ➡️If you are a digital DJ and curious about how to become a Vinyl DJ… honestly the best first step is showing up, listening and watching! ➡️If a DJ gives you permission to stand on stage with them and watch that is okay, otherwise you should be off the stage and watching and listening from the dance floor or front booths. ❗️You are welcome to stand on Blue Moon booths for a better view. ‼️DJs in a Dive Bar, Brit Jean Presents and The Blue Moon are not responsible for injuries at this event, standing on a booth or perching on a booth is an at your own risk choice. 🙋🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️Please never hesitate to ask us questions in person, during an event or in our DMs or email [email protected] ❣️Thank you! The 2nd Tuesday of every Month is Vinyl Night, open turntables start at 7p. Our monthly headliner goes on at 10p. It’s a great night to network, dance and music will be on from 7p-1:30a.

💙🌙The Blue Moon is just 5 walking blocks from the University District Light Rail station and just 1/2 block off I5. Only a few blocks from local bus routes; 20, 31, 32, 44, 43, 65, 67, 70 and more. Street parking is limited but you can pay to park at a huge lot across the street. 🚙We recommend the paid lot directly across the street from @bluemoonseattle Not because we love paying for parking but because it’s well-lit and the closest, safest option to the bar. 🅿️ The paid lot is directly across the street from Blue Moon. [WU64] aka “petco lot” Petco doesn’t exist there anymore but it’s still called that. Its currently a Christmas Tree Lot. This is the cheapest paid lot, SCAN THE PARKWHIZ QR CODE not the city pay by phone. If you pay through PARKWHIZ it’s around $7 for the whole night! If you pay through the other options it’s $15-24, dont do that! 🚫We do not recommend the paid lot or street parking infront of the old movie theater. The paid lot cost triple and the street parking there is known for break-ins. Anytime you park anywhere in Seattle, it’s highly recommended you don’t leave valuables in your car or anything visable. 💙Reminder #djsinadivebar is free! No cover! But please buy a drink! Drinks are how the bar survives and allows us to host free events! Most drafts, cans, bottles are only $8 but we have Tuesday drink specials even cheaper than that! Reminder that once-a-month on the #thirdtuesday of the month is our randomly unique event BINGO & BEATS - come play this Tuesday, May 19th! This is different than a regular DJ Dance Party night but still a #DjsinaDiveBar production! Full event is 7p-11p. Sometimes we go late but usually over by Midnight, unlike our other Tuesdays that are 7p-1:30/2a. Bingo&Beats is a fun version of Bar Bingo that includes shouting out musical events and promoting our favorite music across the city. Have an upcoming event? This is a great night to promote it! During Bingo our soundtrack is performed by a live DJ! Your creators of DJs in a Dive Bar, Bingo Host Brit Jean and DJ Whitcher 9p-11p! Bingo starts at 9p but we encourage you to show up between 7-9p for music, mingling and other activities! Bingo is FREE and you win prizes! We are currently offering HOUSE MUSIC ONLY Open Decks 7-9p. This is a great opportunity for newer DJs who might be feeling nervous about performing on stage as you are DJing to tables and chairs instead of dancers. This is still first-come, first-serve, signs-ups at 7p. Come make new friends and support your community! Life is a lot these days but we deserve to get silly and have some fun! Tuesday Drink Specials: $5 Mocktails and a $5 Draft - just ask! Regular drink prices are around $8 which is some of the cheapest in the city! Plus, this is also a great night to bring your dog! The Blue Moon is always pet-friendly but this night isn’t as loud as other DJ nights. Just remember, no-biting, that goes for dogs and humans! Be kind, be respectful or please stay home! Tonight is VINYL NIGHT! Every 2nd Tuesday of the Month! Open Turntable Sign-ups start at 7p, first come-first serve-till full. Cut off on signs ups is at 8p. Then set list is posted. Headliner plays 10p-12a! Come dance! DJs in a Dive Bar are community focused events with free entry/no cover & cheap drinks with lots of NA options! We hope to have something for everyone, from opportunities to DJ, Dance, chill in a booth, play games, shop local vendors & network! This is hosted at @bluemoonseattle 💙🌙 There are bar snacks available but no kitchen food, so you can bring in your own food, just no drinks. This event is free due to the drinks the bar sells. Please try & buy a min of 1 beverage while attending, it helps keep these events going plus keep this historical establishment alive! And his crew AnArtistCollective did an all Vinyl Crew Takeover the 1st Tues in December & they are coming back in June! The #FirstTuesdsy is always a full lineup night. 💬 Style”E”: Style “E” began as a multi talented musician and songwriter making lo-fi indie rock and blues. Moving from Oklahoma to the PNW in he 94’ he was exposed to a whole new level of culture given the Seattle “Grunge” scene was at its peak! In 1999 he got his first set of turntables and since has never looked back. Has self produced private presses i. 2002 (the Style “E.p.” and 2005 (Small Town Big City Nitelife). Specializing in multi-genre open format sets his current favorite sounds are minimal techno and House. But loves breaks, hip-hop, downtempo and anything that sounds good. Founded AnArtist Collective in December 2022 recruiting many amazing selectors the AAC Twitch channel including Eva, Sherman, EKB*, Jules V, Psy-Phi, O.B.1., Konstantin, Hon Solo, and more. “E” has been producing and curating shows for over 27 years. ……………………. To be chosen as the 10p Headliner, you must first play an open slot. On Vinyl Night the Headliner plays at 10p & is paid! The open table slots are before & after! Sign-ups start at 7p! With just over a year of D. experience, she quickly established herself as a force to be reckoned with. Her most notable recent appearance was as the opening act for The Crystal Method. In her first year performing, she made her rounds playing for established groups such as Emergence DNB, Deep N Bass, Elevated Frequencies, Shameless Productions, Innerflight Music, Uniting Souls, Imagine Music and Arts Festival & Cascadia NW Arts and Music Festival. With a history in the festival and dance scene dating back to the age of 7, Onyx eventually began working in event production. She is currently the youngest core crew member on the Cascadia festival team. Onyx takes immense pride in her track selection and variety of sounds. Kadeejah Streets has played at #DJsinaDiveBar before for our very special “the Tuesday before Halloween” full blown Halloween party and costume contest back on 10.29.2024! Every time he plays it is a do-not-miss-event. He’s one of our favorite DJs and friends! ‼️ And you could go see him play today, Sunday, 10.2 at the Reverie Society 3-8p Day Party at @monkey_loft , with @itsrecess (also played the Halloween party) @tekthree & @duncfoo (recently headlined digital night), and start celebrating Taurus now and then bring that energy back with you Tuesday for b.lakepeterson! Perhaps it was a missed opportunity in not being named Eddie Cusca-savage, given his unrelenting ability to keep it 100 at all times with eclectic genre-hopping & a merciless approach to playing whatever he wants, whenever he wants, with flawless execution. Anyone who has heard this guy play out knows they are always in for a treat, being offered a sonic omakase of zestful house, disco, acid, EBM, electro, breaks, techno and any other conceivable dish one could possibly yearn for in a masterclass of dance music past, present and future. Whether he is freaking you out with sinister, heady, darker tunes or lifting you up to euphoric heights with life-affirming blissful ones, to consider him a mere ‘local legend’ does not even begin to address how essential a leader he is in the local dance music scene. When we think of the Seattle scene and its enormous lot of technicians and trailblazers for our DJ community, make no mistake: Big Daddy ‘Deejah is at its forefront.

Back when we started this night, Brit Jean called a few friends and explained to them our idea of having 1 headliner each night and the rest being open decks. We needed a DJ to step up and be the first headliner, a few told her it was a great idea but to call them when it gets off the ground. But TONY H, said, I’m down, LFG! He was the first headliner to ever play on Digital Night and we are stoked for him to be back on the Blue Moon’s Dive Bar Stage! 💬 Tony H aka @djtonyh507 has made a name for himself as one of the most thrilling up-and-coming artists in the house music scene and still riding high off of buzzworthy performances earlier this year at Groove Cruise Festival, Miami Music Week and currently on his Ride or Die tour.
