Operation: Green Room (Part 1)🤘✨
This project got started January 2025 as part of my husband and I’s creative gift and in celebration of 25 Years of Alex’s Bar! After so many years open, it only seemed appropriate to get a proper green room going LOL
Adolescents LP color blue was an idea derived from Alex. Wanting something opposite of the chaos of out front… a calming color && it is reminiscent of his good friend, the late Steve Soto 🩵 And it just so happened I snagged this clearance blue paint years ago (with no idea in mind then). Custom printed wallpaper by @weirdzenlbc 🤌 We went with a fun and bold mid-century print - in Part 2, you’ll see we continued that print to the next wall!
This was a labor of love and tbh, a really fun project. I’ve never taken on something quite like this. Thank you Alex and family for trusting my vision - believe me, they would be surprised with every change I made LOL Thank you to my bb + numero uno @master_droog for making my vision come to reality. Much love to all the bands I get to set up for. We wanted your short (sometimes long) stay to be more comfortable now with couches + a vanity area…Not all of you have gotten to see it yet && I can’t wait to invite you back!

March marks my yearly observance of my alter-ego, Polyester. Yesterday was our 18 Year Anniversary of being crazy and driving each other crazy. We pretty much never left each other’s company as soon as we hooked up and many of you don’t even know us without the other. Cheers to the many memories that made us, shaped us, and sometimes even scared us. Love being your ride or die.
