Thank you @bruceforat refurbished my dad’s drum machine ! Added midi . This was my first toy my dad let me mess with in like 1st grade #linndrum then when I got older , in jr high highschool ( Bancroft jr high ) where I went to school with Charlie tuna from Jurassic 5 , @therealsondoobie and a couple more Hiphop heads , I hooked it up to a 4 track teac reel to reel and the Numark 1775a for samples. Didn’t know how to punch in the tape. So any beat I made has to hit the sampler for 4-5 minute each loop. If you messed up. Had to go back to the top , and do it again !
The first video shoot I was in was “Murder she wrote “ by @tairriebmurphy produced by @therealqd3 , she was signed to #ruthlessrecords ! she put me in the music game and the rest is history 1987 ish this picture has some legends in it. Also @therealqd3 did the first #houseofpain demos when it was called everlast and the house of pain and was more of a band ! That’s where I first met a young @evidence in venice at qdiii studio. Must have been no more that 13-15 years old watching qdiii work.
My first tour. 1990 , my time line was off , Left fairfax high school middle of 11th grade to dj for everlast . My mentor @djevile_1 was hella cool. It was a dream come true to be on tour with @icet and be part of the Rhyme Syndicate crew. This pic is with HIJACK uk syndicate 🇬🇧 sickest DJ’s was so incredible. Go peep the records.
