Main Phase’s DJ set honestly hit me harder than anything I’ve heard in a long time.
More than that, I just feel grateful that someone this incredible is at the very forefront of the UKG scene. I’m always thinking and experimenting with what it really means to be a “good DJ,” and it genuinely felt like he showed me a new path forward.
On top of that, when we talked, he shared how he’s been thinking about what kind of musical expression should come next within the current scene, and about the DJs who influenced him in the past. It was just all-around inspiring.
Huge shoutout to CIRCUS TOKYO and Mari putting this together — seriously, what a great party.
