A lifelong musician, Earlybird picked up turntablism and DJing in 2018 and has honed his craft playing at bboy battles, art shows, lounges, dance clubs, and currently plays semimonthly at Uncommon Drip. When listening to an Earlybird set, expect to hear scratch solos, refreshed classic songs, and a wide range of genres particularly hip-hop, soul, disco, and garage. Earlybird loves to spark new musical connections in listeners and remind audiences of previously-loved songs. @djdsdmusic - After more than 20 years in the entertainment industry across Western Canada, DSD is stepping into a new era — shifting focus from open format sets to the underground energy of house music.
