This year Vinyl Wnkers and @bassline_brigade unite all tribes with music of liberation at Sergels torg @thenoderestaurang_bar from 20-03. Unite with us and enjoy the dance! The future didn't wait. Global heat and genocide, doom and gloom. Yet I feel fortunate to participate in the madness we call “these days”. I have been less available and less online since my daughter was born. Instead, I have been present right here. I had an opportunity to play at both @hybrida.space and @klanglandet both preparation and experiences humbling and inspiring. SAMIRA ARIADAD & DJ KUGG - HYBRIDA FEST 2024 - DJ SET
Disco fan Samira Ariadad (@djsamiraari ) & junglist DJ Kugg (@dj_kugg ) are eclectic DJs who have been organising raves and parties together in various groups the past ten years in Malmö and Stockholm. They thrive in good old fashioned DIY-culture and free parties. They recently bought a little house in Älvsbacka and are quickly embedding themselves in the community and local music scene.

Everybody is transmitting radiant symbiosis of pure creation. Setting up the light for this show together with @cookincrystlz was pure fun. From scavenging for equipment and ink to tuning the fine bits with bands. Friendly faces, appreciation and gratitude. Precious moments with @ossianreynolds@hybrishealers , @aviandawn and @vartsolsystem .

Earworm is back in action. This weeks mix comes from Stockholm-based DJ and Promoter @dj_kugg 🇸🇪
Kugg is a DJ with love for vinyl. He mainly collects Balearic and breakbeat records. The tunes in this mix blend dreamy snares with chanting for freedom against oppression. It started from a feeling of solitude in the cold winter and was finalised mid-summer with a sense of purpose and togetherness. We are all experiencing exceptions to our plans. This mix was delayed many times. What kugg realised in the recording of this mix was that hope did not have to come from completing projects but from making conscious choices in everyday life.
This shorter-than-average mix he has gifted us is a beautiful blend of sunkissed balearic sounds with breakbeat rhythms showcasing Kugg's keen musical taste. A perfect closer for summer that offers a moment to reflect and reminisce.

The big dance of the summer is coming up 18th of June. I have been excited and nervous for a while. Will they dance to Latin house? Do these breaks look big on me?
It turns out that one size fits all. Life is like that. I worry about an inevitable future, and when it arrives, all I have to do is embrace it and enjoy the present.
