It has been brought to my attention that artistic integrity is at an all-time low here in Indianapolis, and I refuse to stay silent while my work and ideas are being openly copied. @CLUB.CUUUNT was built from the ground up through my vision and hard work — as a BLACK, gay man who is talented, creative, driven, and unapologetically myself. When I first started, many of my peers DID NOT support me. Everything I brought to the table was new: SPECIFICALLY HERE IN NAPTOWN. the sounds, the looks, and the diverse, vibrant audience I attract — the same audience so many of you continue to book me to bring. It’s frustrating to see people who don’t truly support or respect me imitate my style and concepts, simply because they don’t want me to be the one to lead and succeed. I’ve built this community and platform without a mentor, without clout, without money — purely through vision, hard work, faith, talent, and the genuine support of my community and real friends. I’ve learned that many people will never say how they truly feel to my face. Instead, they move in shady, underhanded ways, watching closely while trying to replicate what I do. This message is for all the people who can’t figure me out, who keep my name in their mouths, and who continue to copy my work without understanding the heart and intention behind it. Remember: God doesn’t bless no mess, and they don’t like Ugly and I am neither messy nor ugly. I stand on integrity, creativity, and authenticity — and business 👊🏾👊🏾 that’s why I continue to thrive.
