They say life comes full circle. 🌷
Mom told me a story about a long drive to the Tulip Festival in Ottawa. She held a crying baby in her arms the whole way while Dad drove. No car seats back then, just a mother’s embrace.
This past weekend, I found myself back at that same festival, but this time in full regalia. It was our first official Town Crier event outside of Stouffville, and the experience was humbling. As a member of the Ontario Guild of Town Criers, I’m now standing among some of the most elite public speakers in the world.
We’ve learned so much this past weekend. The walk, the precision of the delivery, and the history behind every spoken word.
To my fellow Criers: you are masters of your craft, and I am honoured to walk among you.
I’m trying to make you proud, Mom @mommymangubat I love you.
@robynreoman I would not be a Town Crier without you.
Happy Mother’s Day to my incredible consort @robynreoman and to @florareodica . ❤️

To anyone I’ve ever played music for. If I made you dance, 💃🏾 if a song that I played moved you, if I made you smile, if I made a difference in your life, know that you made an even bigger difference in mine. With God’s grace, I’ll be able to do what I love most.
Love, Brian
