2. I'm releasing my short film in collaboration with @affect.av this Friday at 12pm EST on YouTube and Dailymotion! I know it's been quite a while since the film release party back in October, but I'm super proud of this project and excited to share it with all of you! Each creation is a piece of her, a reflection of life experiences transformed into something meaningful for others to relate to and enjoy! She has always cherished trinkets with sentimental value, and hopes her art becomes something for you to treasure-or to share with someone you love and value.
(Slides 4-5) Radical Henna - @radicalhennaartist : Shahrin is an Ypsilanti based henna artist. She stays connected to her Bangladeshi roots through this ancient ancestral practice of natural body art. Henna has been used within many communities all over the world like the SWANA region and South Asia. Shahrin enjoys building community through henna, facilitating the exploration of this art via workshops, and making connections between henna and our world.
Shahrin will be doing live henna art as well as selling the tools for your own henna practice.

This year’s Halloween celebration at @cafe_sous_terre took a twisted turn in all the right ways. Sous Terror brought together a cast of heavy-hitting DJs and performers for a night of chaotic energy, dramatic costumes, and timeless vibrations 🎃
@adam_dipaolo , @monsuuun and @dj_herboyfriend set the tone with an off-the-cuff instrumental performance bringing experimental rock and RnB vibes. Our special guests @lady_witch_ and @dizzy_ftp brought the heat with hard, high-velocity sets that pushed the room into full Halloween delirium. Rounding out the lineup, BAD LISTENER residents @steph__who and @swingvibe kept the crowd moving and the night stitched together with their signature selections 👻
