Tapping in with @homiehangz co-founder @emberlafi 💫🙂‍↕️ Ember LaFiamma is a multi-faceted DJ, artist and community organizer and OG BAD LISTENER collaborator. Along with co-creators @stonecold_medusa and @lububbls , Ember has worked to build Homie Hangz into a third place for Detroit DJs to meet up, network, share knowledge and resources and build community with like-minded creatives. Her talent and dedication to the city has earned her bookings at some of the most sought-after venues in Detroit, as well as a spot at this year’s @movementdetroit festival. DetroitMusicScene meet @emberlafi who is amazing DJ and curator that I first saw online, but a happy accident to run into her at an amazing event, Drinks by Design curated by @designcoredet in the inspiring industrial art space @vanderdetroit this past Thursday showcasing art and all things innovation. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing people moved by the beats she was spinning. Especially the joyful little kiddos that were moved by the music and couldn’t help but dance. Excited to see more from her.
