Back at the gym this morning with @nick_k_harrison chasing those PBs! The nose tape worked a treat and I also grabbed some @vivobarefoot shoes to train in, which was really interesting. Definitely way less suspension, so the running felt different for the first few hundred metres, but I got used to it pretty quickly. They’re way better for all the carrying, pushing and pulling stuff too because you’ve got more connection to the ground.
I train barefoot every day, so I’m used to that feeling, but I’ve never run decent distances in barefoot shoes before, so I was keen to see how it’d turn out. Reckon I’ll have aching arches tomorrow, but I’m here for whatever that does for foot strength in the long run! Let’s goooo 💪🔥

One lovely lady, who turned out to be a CrossFit champ, showed me a super counterintuitive trick for the wall balls, so keen to test that properly next week!
