We received our first award for Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and it happens to be a writing award that came from the community of writers @swaindiaorg
That's where it all began, on the page.
The page whose words came from numerous women, men and children across the villages/cities of Gujarat and Kutchh, who shared their tryst with Patriarchy with an absolute stranger.
The words that then were then backboned by Maneesh Sharma and Aditya Chopra.
Followed by the Hearts of Departments coming together @aliceinandheri@siddharthdiwan@mayursharma22011@manoshinath@rushisharma@vishaldadlani@shekharravjiani@pritam_gram@ganesh.sounddesign@sanchitbalhara@ankitbalhara@adhip@jiyabhardwaj@shanoosharmarahihai #veronicagautam #cnandakumarnair #padambhushan #anujmathur #mohitsajnaney along with the rest of our awesome crew who built a world out of those words.
The world found meaning through our golden cast led by @jiaavaidya@shalzp #ratnapathakshah @boman_irani@ranveersingh
The meaning hopefully finds its way back to where it came from.
Uff the joy of collaboration and watching âJayeshbhai Jordaarâ take a life of its own.
Thank you, universe, for your Sheldon-like "There There"
Also, this pat-on-the-back will always remain special since the nominees are people whose work Iâve always looked up to @nagraj_manjule@actormaddy@atulkulkarni_official@chhotathalaiva
Gratitude series on...
I was just a boy with 90 pages standing in front of an unknown universe asking for collaborators who would love these pages as much or even more.
In came these three beautiful souls who made me believe that it was one worth sharing with the world.
These three personify love in their own ways:
1. Maneesh Sharma - Chill Love
2. @ranveersingh - wear on sleeve Love
3. Aditya Chopra - Omnipresent Love
For all of this to come together, either Dad made a deal with Yashji in heaven or/and the above mentioned are simply too awesome for believing in someone who just randomly popped into their lives out of nowhere.
They shall always be #myjordaars and I still can't believe it...
Swipe for some moments from our journey ->
Woke up just like Jayesh in the picture above. Thank you to everyone who watched/recommended forward and made us no. 1
My DMs are filled with love and my heart is full of gratitude đ

Divyang (@divyangt ) is a Mumbai-based director and screenwriter who made his Hindi feature debut with the Ranveer Singh starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Originally from a corporate computer engineering background, he switched to professional theatre, spending over a decade working with prominent figures like Dr. Akash Khurana, Quasar Padamsee, Sunil Shanbaug, and Shernaz Patel. He performed in over 40 plays on national and international stages. Alongside acting, Divyang directed and edited over 250 corporate advertisements for top brands such as Asian Paints, SBI, and Mahindra Finance.
Divyang further expanded his acting career with lead roles in Gujarati films like Kevi Rite Jaish and Bey Yaar, winning the Gujarat State Award for Best Actor for his performance in Kevi Rite Jaish. His diverse experiences in acting, direction, and editing led him to discover a passion for screenwriting, which resulted in Jayeshbhai Jordaar, produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma for Yash Raj Films (@yrf ).
Currently, Divyang is working on an epic period series, developing an original action feature and set to direct his next horror comedy. His ultimate goal is to establish mobile caravan cinemas that travel across India, bringing cinema to regions without theatres.
