T-Rek’s real name is Tarek Smallman. T-Rek is a music producer, DJ & musician, based in Melbourne, Australia. T-Rek has been regularly recording and releasing records since 2002, first as one half of live performance duo Bionikworld, before going solo in 2005. T-Rek has released dozens of his own and other peoples records via his label Freakshow Disco Productions. T-Rek had a number one single in 2010 with “Out My Bitch” on Ministry Of Sound. T-Rek had a top twenty single at the start of 2013 with the song ‘Don’t Trip’. T-Rek is well aware that this biography appears to be in point form. T-Rek has been a live performer with a host of Australian bands including Infusion, Kim Salmon & The Business, and his own ‘T-Rek Band’, who appeared twice as part of the national Big Day Out tour. T-Rek is aware that it can appear impressive to name drop some of the people he has DJed and performed in support of. T-Rek will now attempt to impress you with names: LCD Soundsystem, David Bowie, U.N.K.L.E., The Prodigy, Carl Cox, M.I.A., Andrew Weatherall, Deadmau5, etc, etc. T-Rek has released 4 artist albums over the past ten years combining club and electronic music with rock n’roll guitars and drums. T-Rek has officially remixed many bands and fellow producers including Coolio & Snoop Dogg, The Kills, Something For Kate & Nick Coleman (Faces Of Meth). T-Rek is bemused by the fact he appears to be writing in the third person. T-Rek has been a resident DJ at Melbourne nightclub institution Revolver Upstairs for over 10 years. T-Rek is running out of facts about himself to try and impress you. T-Rek is currently working on a slew of new club music collaborations, as well as reissuing some of his older material with new remixes etc. T-Rek has decided to finish up here. T-Rek would like to thank you for your time.

Dive Bar Disco is stoked that T-Rek is playing in a b2b with Party Shirts Thompson at Double Lucky Disco on Feb 21st. Dive Bar Disco is inspired by T-Rek’s bio writing style and is keen to carry on the tradition. Dive Bar Disco thinks you should go to Eventbrite and buy a ticket and come to the party. Dive Bar Disco put a link to Eventbrite in their bio.

Andrew Law was born in the Year of the Dog. He has a background in the free party, DIY sound system movement in the UK. Electro, techno, breakbeat, and jungle booming from DIY sound systems in UK’s hangars and fields conjures up iconic imagery. In Australia, he has kept the flame alive, putting on parties and running off leash with the Trip Hazard pack. These parties are always legal, with the correct permits and traffic management plans.
Melbourne audiences first met Andrew Law under the impressive moniker “GoldenBalls,” where he slotted into venues like The Laundry, Punters Club, and The Tote. Often following metal bands, he nevertheless won over the metal heads every time. He has appeared at a long resume of underground gatherings in the late ’90s, cementing his reputation with with trademark rolling bass and cracking sets.
More recently, he has played at Virus’ Triple Drop, Radio Bar, Bad Decisions, Lucky Schmucks, and more. Current residencies include Trip Hazard Sound System, EvolutionLive, and MusicBoxRadio. His sounds have also graced radio stations Basswise, NRG Live, WeekendRush FM, and he is the head honcho of NE1 Sound System.
On Saturday Feb 21st, Andrew Law will be running free with the Year of Horse, laying down 808 that booms deeper and 909 that thuds like thunder.

Born in the Year of the Rabbit, Pablo Disco has a weakness for 909 and 808 loops with a thumping kick. His influences include techno legend Puff, Perth’s wild Delirium parties, and Melbourne’s golden Teriyaki Anarki Saki era. His DJ sets, borne of a mixing obsession that’s burned strong since 1997, burrow through house, techno, electro and ghetto grooves, and are laced with retro funk, soul, pop and rap.
Pablo Disco first began DJing in Perth, with regular booking across clubs, bars and pubs. He founded Dafunk Productions, simultaneously running three weekly underground parties at Redheads, Fuel Bar and the Rosemount Hotel, pushing ’90s house and techno long before it was safe again. After relocating to Melbourne under the name Matte Shaper, he helmed Metrognome & Milk at the Rochester Castle, and became a regular at the legendary Ace Morning Bar in Brunswick.
For Pablo Disco, the 2026 Year of the Fire Horse will be a year of dynamic movement tempered with the stealth and adaptability of the Rabbit. The Rabbit has the Big Auspicious Stars for 2026 and is considered to be one of the luckiest signs this year. It’s the perfect for time for Pablo Disco to take calculated leaps of faith, to make bold mixes with surprising selections, and to play his first Dive Bar Disco set. Pablo is putting the Disco back into disco at the dive bar at Dive Bar Disco on Feb 21st for Double Lucky Disco. 🎟️ Limited tickets remaining at Eventbrite. Link in bio.

Hella Funk is an imaginative and insightful Rabbit who has long been lolloping around Naarm’s dancefloors. Her resume includes sets at Revolver Lane, One Six One, Section 8, The Toff, Music Room at Her, and Storyville. Fittingly for a Rabbit, she has also played at Queensland’s Rabbits Eat Lettuce, as well as numerous underground arts festivals including Outlandish and Luminous. Raised on disco and funk, Hella Funk is an intuitive and sensitive artist, alert to the shifting energy in the room and to fine gradations of chroma, tempo and pitch. Her DJ sets are deep and thoughtful frolics through bass-heavy meadows of house, hip hop and tech house, laced with sultry grooves and playful funk, and delivered with focus. After feeling the intensity of the Year of the Snake, shedding skins and refining her taste, Hella Funk is ready to leap and bound into the Year of the Horse. While others sprint, the Rabbit will outmanoeuvre. 2026 sees her multiplying bookings, stretching into longer sets, and playing with genre. Hella Funk is slaying the dancefloor with Fire Horse confidence and sass at Double Lucky Disco on Feb 21st. 🎟️ Limited tickets remaining at Eventbrite. Link in bio.
