Proper underground icon. If you know you know.
Pixleton is deeply embedded in the history of Melbourne’s underground scene, with roots in sound system culture and a long history of shaping dancefloors across clubs and warehouse spaces.
Her sets are driven by bass, acid and raw energy, reflecting a commitment to music, community and the experience of the dancefloor itself.
At Loose Rave Unit, we expect nothing less than a session of high intensity face melters that are gonna leave your face contorted for days to come.
If it gets feral, she’s probably involved.

Our first DJ to join us at @section8melbourne on April 27 @pixletoni ! Pixleton is a Melbourne-based selector serving late-night energy with a sharp edge and a soft heart. With 25+ years behind the decks, she moves effortlessly between deep, driving techno, sleazy house, and unexpected left turns—always chasing tension, texture, and release.
Pixleton curates dancefloors that are inclusive, expressive, and just a little bit untamed. Expect hypnotic rhythms, dark grooves, and moments that feel both intimate and unhinged—in the best way.
Come as you are. Stay for the drop. @non.binary.finery

Born in a Tiger year, Pixleton is the quintessential underground icon.
Icon, because an entire generation of Melbourne’s OG doofers and ravers have shaken what their momma gave them with Pixleton on the ones and twos. The sight of a literal Pixie dragging milk crates full of records, stacked on a trolley, over rough terrain to the doof or upstairs to the warehouse, is not an easy one to forget.
Underground, because Pixleton’s love for the music, art, and community shines through in everything she does. With a background in sound system culture, she has been a key player in the evolution of Melbourne’s bohemian nightlife and rave scene. From co-founding cutting edge club night Flirt, to holding residencies at Revolver’s legendary Saturday morning sessions, Teriyaki Anarki Saki, Virus, and Sunny, to name a few, Pixleton has had a lasting impact. She continues to shape the culture, recently establishing Adore with Luke McD and Misa, and putting the spotlight firmly on community and connection.
For 2026’s Year of the Fire Horse, Pixleton’s Tiger fortune is looking auspicious af. Together, Dogs, Tigers and Horses form the Three Harmonies, meaning that Horse energy can amp up Pixleton’s natural Tiger rizz, boost her boss game, and sharpen her decisiveness. Artistic expression and readiness for action is also favoured for Tigers this year, so Pixleton should get ready to pounce on creative dreams and opportunities coming her way. One prediction that can be made with absolute certainty is that Pixleton’s basslines will be massive, her acid will be phonky, and her dancefloors will be legendary.
Pixleton hits the Dive Bar Disco decks once again on Feb 21 for Double Lucky Disco. 🎟️ Very limited tix available now at Eventbrite. Link in bio.
